What’s New

We have developed an engine scoring component to objectively measure your search engine’s quality or score. Running a diagnostic on your search application will allow search engineers to iterate, tune relevancy and improve performance. This is now available within Discovery but can also be acquired as a separate bundle with our Search Relevancy Scoring Dashboard. We have also continued to update our existing components to support Mongo Atlas. Our Discovery API now supports vector search when using Atlas on the back end. Continue to read on for all new features, bug fixes, and improvements.

  • Supports calculating query scores based on captured users' events for an existing search engine.

  • Supports calculating query scores against a new search engine or a different search engine configuration by re-executing an existing set of queries (pre-emptive engine scoring).

Supported Versions

Discovery provides support and bug fixing for the following versions:

  • Version 1.3.0 or newer.

  • Version 1.2.0. If you are in this version, plan to upgrade soon.

    • “recordData” parameter has been changed to “recordDataStrategy”.
